TRUER SPHERE – Ti48Al2Nb2Cr – T4822
Ti4822 Powder (Ti-48Al-2Nb-2Cr) alloy is mainly composed of titanium, aluminum, niobium and chromium. it has excellent ductility but poor high-temperature strength because it has a near gamma structure. But can be added into other alloys, such as 316L, for selective laser melting leading to the form of ferrite phase in the molten pool. The ferrite and its surrounding austenite undergo recrystallization and recovery to improve properties.
Our spherical TiAl 4822 (Ti48Al2Nb2Cr) powder can be prepared by the plasma rotary electrode atomization process (PREP), Electrode induction gas atomization (EIGA). It features low oxygen content, a high sphere rate, and good fluidity which satisfies different process requirements for EBM 3D printing, laser powder coating 3D printing, laser coaxial powder feeding 3D printing.
