TRUER SPHERE – Ti6.5Al2Zr1Mo1V – TA15

TA15 powder -Titanium alloy Ti-6.5Al-2Zr-1Mo-1V (TA15) is a near-alpha alloy which has both high thermal mechanical strength and weldability. It can be used up to temperatures of 500°C (versus approximately 400 °C for Ti-6Al-4V). Typical applications are aircraft & engine part and welding bearing parts that work for a long tine below 500°C.

Our spherical Ti-6.5Al-2Zr-1Mo-1V (TA15) powder can be prepared by the plasma rotary electrode atomization process (PREP), Electrode induction gas atomization (EIGA). It features low oxygen content, a high sphere rate, and good fluidity which satisfies different process requirements for Additive Manufacturing application, including Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF), Smelting Laser Melting (SLM), Electron Beam Melting (EBM) and Direct energy deposition DED.
