TRUER SPHERE - N0400 – Monel 400

Nickel Alloy Monel 400 powder-Monel 400 (UNS N04400, DIN Nr. 2.4360, NiCu30) is a nickel-copper solid-solution alloy that can be hardened only by cold working. It has high strength and toughness over a wide temperature range and excellent resistance to many corrosive environments, sea water, hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid and alkalies. Typical applications are valves and pumps; pump and propeller shafts; marine fixtures and fasteners; springs; gasoline and fresh water tanks; process vessels and piping; boiler feedwater heaters and other heat exchangers.

For additive manufacturing application, our common production process includes Gas (argon or nitrogen) Atomizing process (GA) & Plasma Rotating Electrode Process (PREP) with high spherical, high purity, high packing density, low porosity and excellent flowing properties.
