Additive manufacturing of the new nickel-based superalloy CM247LC powder

CM247LC is a new type of nickel-based superalloy, featuring excellent thermal stability, high-temperature corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and good high-temperature creep performance. It can be used in the production of hot-end components for aerospace engines and gas turbines.

The CM247LC metal powder developed by Shanghai Truer Technology Co., Ltd. is a special powder for additive manufacturing methods such as laser powder Bed melting (LPBF).

1. Powder advantages: The operating temperature of CM247LC is approximately 900°C. It is well known that the crack problem of CM247LC powder printed parts limits its application. Shanghai Truer Technology Co., Ltd. started from the aspect of powder and developed CM247LC. Compared with the test pieces of CM247LC manufactured by LPBF, the mechanical properties of CM247LC are comparable, but GD AM247LC has lower crack sensitivity. The peculiarity of this alloy lies in the fact that its yield strength and tensile strength will reach a peak at 800℃.
